Who am I?
I am a human, dog parent, design enthusiast, and problem solver. I love reading and playing games, especially puzzles, sandbox, and interactive stories. I enjoy design and organization in the physical and digital space. I’ve been told by a previous manager that I’m like a blend of Leslie and April (Parks and Rec).
What drives me?
I'm drawn to UX's intersection of science and design, where data-driven problem-solving leads to creative, user-centered solutions. I value structure, organization, inclusivity, and ethical considerations in design. I seek a collaborative team environment that critically evaluates decisions and considers unintended consequences. Ultimately, I aim to contribute to a better world through design, while prioritizing personal and professional growth through self-reflection, empathy, and optimism.
My Background
I’m a UX researcher and designer with experience designing and validating digital products in healthcare, government, and other complex, regulated domains. I work across the full product lifecycle — from discovery research and journey mapping to wireframes, prototypes, and usability testing — grounding design decisions in real user needs and evidence.
My strength lies in connecting research insights to thoughtful design execution. I conduct qualitative and quantitative research to uncover user behaviors, pain points, and motivations, then translate those insights into clear flows, intuitive interfaces, and actionable recommendations. I bring a calm, analytical approach to complex problems, helping teams reduce risk, align stakeholders, and design with confidence.
I worked at Axle Informatics from 2021-2025 supporting NIH-funded platforms and federal health tools, where I contributed to end-to-end research and design efforts for large-scale systems. After my role at Axle concluded, I transitioned into freelance work with YuGaTech LLC on research discovery, validation, and design strategy for their clients.
Across both research and design work, my goal is the same: to create digital experiences that are intuitive, accessible, and human — especially in spaces where clarity and trust matter most.
